The curved hedge shown was planted at the height it appears here when Gristwood & Toms were asked to help ‘beautify’ an unloved and overgrown village pond. The pond, complete with a commemorative tree and seating supplied by Gristwood & Toms, has been cleared, stocked with fish and bordered by instant hedges to two sides. It is now a much loved corner for the community and has attracted a wealth of wildlife, including a resident heron.
The driveway images shown are from a recent project completed within a day on behalf of the London Borough of Brent who own the property. The area was cleared, trenches were dug, good soil added and ten Portuguese Laurels were planted, chosen as a match for the mature hedge alongside.
